The Jakhoo Hanuman Temple is located on Jakhoo Hill, the highest peak in Shimla. It's famous for its 108-feet-tall statue of Hanuman, which is visible from many parts of Shimla.

According to legend, Hanuman stopped at this spot to rest while on his way to collect the Sanjeevani herb for Lakshmana. The temple offers breathtaking views of the Shivalik ranges and the town of Shimla.

5:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM

How to Reach

The temple is accessible by a steep walk from Shimla's Ridge or by a cable car ride. Taxis are also available from Shimla town.
